OBA (open by appointment)
OBA is a private library open by appointment.At the moment is composed of ±2000 volumes devoted to new research languages in visual and performative arts, design, cinema, artist's books, etc.It's a library of exceptions, an anti-nostalgic archive, neither an aspirational nor an inspirational place. OBA inconstantly curates research projects, bibliographies and thematic selections that transversally cross the collection.  At the moment is in a private house in Venice.
Inside its walls, books are shared but are not for sale. OBA it's not a bookshop.
OBA wants to ignite moments of thought and exchange around new ways of thinking publishing and the book with appointments and conversations.
